Innovation with technology advancement in the last few decades has restructured health science education to integrate experiential learning. Simulation-based education (SBE) has become the standard of not only initial medical and health sciences education but continuing competencies for professional licensure and/or certification.
Simulation is an opportunity for learners to discover and experience interpersonal risk-taking in a safe and harm-reductive space to empower critical thinking concepts. The goal of this webinar is to provide an overview of the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice™ to increase educator’s confidence to utilize simulation-based education in the classroom.
