Through our Educator Exchange webinar series, the National Consortium for Health Science Education (NCHSE) provides educators and members with high-quality education and training without leaving their classroom or office. NCHSE offers a broad range of programming presented by subject matter experts to help keep participants up-to-date on the latest curriculum standards, teaching trends, best practices, hot topics, and subjects of special interest in health science education.
NCHSE invites subject matter experts in the health science education community to share their talent and knowledge. You may submit a proposal to conduct a webinar presentation online.
Once submitted, your programming idea will be forwarded to the NCHSE Professional Development Committee for consideration. An NCHSE staff liaison will notify you of your proposal's acceptance.

Sessions should be designed for:
- Middle school, secondary, and postsecondary health science educators
- CTE instructors and program leaders
- Career development and pathway coordinators
- Education and industry partners
Proposals should consider a range of experience levels.
Proposals should demonstrate:
- Alignment to health science education standards and pathways
- Relevance to current classroom or program needs
- Clear application to teaching and learning
- Practical strategies, tools, or resources that can be implemented by participants
- Awareness of emerging trends, technologies, or workforce expectations
- 45 minute virtual sessions
- Scheduled throughout the academic year
- Presentations should include opportunities for participant engagement (e.g., demonstrations, Q&A, or applied examples)
- When planning activities, please note, the webinar platform does not allow for participant cameras or open audio
Selected presenters will:
- Collaborate with the planning team on scheduling and logistics, including logging on early or attending a dress rehearsal call, if requested
- Provide any supporting materials in advance
- Deliver a session that is clear, organized, and applicable to practice
The planning team organizes scheduling and logistics for each session, as well as all marketing. Sessions may be recorded for future access and professional learning.
Review Process
Proposals are currently closed for the 26-27 year.
All submissions will be reviewed by the planning committee. Selection is based on alignment, relevance, and overall contribution to the goals of the Educator Exchange Webinar Series.

FAQs for the Presenter
NCHSE welcomes subject matter experts across the health science education community. If you have relevant knowledge, practical strategies, or innovative ideas to share, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for timely, relevant topics that support health science educators and professionals. Strong proposals may focus on curriculum and standards, innovative teaching, work-based learning, student engagement, professional development, certifications, or emerging trends.
- Submit a Proposal: Complete the online proposal submission to conduct a webinar presentation.
- Provide Materials: Provide a presentation file (e.g., PowerPoint) to be used for the visual part of the webinar, as well as speaker biographies and photographs. These must be submitted no later than six weeks in advance of the program.
- Prepare Your Space: Locate a quiet room, a computer with reliable internet capabilities, a stable phone or VoIP connection, and a headset to present the webinar. Presenters do NOT need to travel to NCHSE headquarters; you can present from the comfort of your own home, classroom, or office.
- Attend a Practice Session: Participate in at least one pre-webinar training session with your NCHSE moderator. Your presentation will be used during this training to familiarize you with the platform's logistics—such as highlighting slides, polling the audience, managing Q&A, and reviewing how you will be introduced.
Webinars are 45-minute virtual sessions. Presenters typically plan for about 30 minutes of instructional content, with the remaining time dedicated to questions, polls, and audience engagement.
Yes! NCHSE manages webinar marketing, registration, attendee communications, and the technology needed to deliver the session.
Webinars are generally held Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
NCHSE webinars are designed for a broad health science education audience, including middle school, secondary, and postsecondary educators, CTE instructors and program leaders, pathway coordinators, and education and industry partners.
Yes. NCHSE webinars are recorded and shared with all registered attendees after the webinar. Recordings are also available to all HSEA members, whether or not they attended the live session. HSEA members can access webinar recordings in the HSEA Resource Library.
Yes! Attendees receive a certificate of participation after completing the webinar.
